Account setup for your mail program such as Outlook
If you are trying to setup your email account in Outlook or another mail program you need to have the proper settings in order to send mail to other people not in your domain.  We modeled out instructions after Outlook and Outlook Express.  The actual wording will vary with other mail programs as well as with other versions of Outlook

Quick Tips:

Based on Outlook or Outlook Express

Go to Tools – Email Accounts – takes you to screen where it might ask you to hit next or will show email accounts.  Click on email and then click on properties – or just do a double click on the email.

If it is OE a pages w/4 tabs will appear – general server – advanced – html – incoming – outgoing – mail.(your domain name) is what should be there.

Towards the bottom – Outgoing server requires authorization – put a check mark in there

Advanced tab – outgoing port of 25 – needs to be 587

Incoming 110 but NEVER CHANGE!!!!
